Majors in Master’s Degree

M.Sc. (Tech) in computer science is a degree which opens doors to many places and prepares the way for a long and interesting career. The most important asset for a holder of a Master degree gained during studies is the ability to find out things independently and to form his or her own opinions. A M.Sc. solves the problems to which books don’t give answers. In addition it is delightful to see a spark of entrepreneurship as students and graduates start up their own companies.

The majority of master’s theses are done in industry. Those considering an academic career mainly choose their  academic topic from research groups within the department. The CSE Department provides three majors with several advanced modules for M.Sc. degrees. Currently these majors are partly in Finnish.
